Paneer Sabzi Recipe | पनीर सब्ज़ी रेसिपी


Introduction:
Paneer Sabzi is a delicious North Indian dish made with soft and crumbly paneer cooked in a spicy tomato-based gravy. It's a popular vegetarian dish that can be enjoyed with roti, naan or rice. Here's an easy recipe to make Paneer Sabzi at home.

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped (pyaaz)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste (adrak)
  • 1 tsp garlic paste (lehsun)
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped (hari mirch)
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped (tamatar)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder (lal mirch)
  • 1 tsp coriander powder (dhaniya)
  • 1 tsp cumin powder (jeera powder)
  • Salt to taste (namak)
  • 1/2 cup water (paani)
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing (hara dhaniya)

Method:

  1. Cut the paneer into small cubes and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  3. Once the cumin seeds start to splutter, add finely chopped onions and sauté till they turn translucent.
  4. Add ginger paste, garlic paste and green chillies and sauté for a minute.
  5. Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till they become soft and mushy.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add 1/2 cup water and mix well.
  8. Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  10. Serve hot with roti, naan or rice.
