Paneer Sabzi Recipe | पनीर सब्ज़ी रेसिपी
Introduction:
Paneer Sabzi is a delicious North Indian dish made with soft and crumbly paneer cooked in a spicy tomato-based gravy. It's a popular vegetarian dish that can be enjoyed with roti, naan or rice. Here's an easy recipe to make Paneer Sabzi at home.
Ingredients:
- 200g paneer
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 onion, finely chopped (pyaaz)
- 1 tsp ginger paste (adrak)
- 1 tsp garlic paste (lehsun)
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped (hari mirch)
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped (tamatar)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tsp red chilli powder (lal mirch)
- 1 tsp coriander powder (dhaniya)
- 1 tsp cumin powder (jeera powder)
- Salt to taste (namak)
- 1/2 cup water (paani)
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing (hara dhaniya)
Method:
- Cut the paneer into small cubes and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.
- Once the cumin seeds start to splutter, add finely chopped onions and sauté till they turn translucent.
- Add ginger paste, garlic paste and green chillies and sauté for a minute.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook till they become soft and mushy.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup water and mix well.
- Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with roti, naan or rice.
