Ingredients:

  • 500 grams boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, add the chicken pieces, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.

In a separate mixing bowl, add cornflour, rice flour, beaten egg, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to form a smooth batter.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Dip the marinated chicken pieces in the batter and coat well.

Carefully drop the coated chicken pieces in hot oil and deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with your favorite dip or chutney.
