Here's a recipe for spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined. Roll the mixture into 1 1/2 inch meatballs.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Add the crushed tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  3. While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions, until al dente.
  4. While the pasta is cooking, add the meatballs to the tomato sauce and cook for 10-12 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. Drain the pasta and add it to the tomato sauce and meatballs. Toss to combine.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves. Enjoy!
